They are a global product leader for over 130 years that deliver innovative and sustainable mobility solutions for the vehicle market.Purpose of the Production Supervisor role:Our client is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead and develop people and processes in the PC Assembly production area to maximise safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.Main duties and responsibilities of a Production Supervisor:. Capacity and demand planning. . Responsible for the adherence to the production plan, achieving production performance/targets/OTIF and OEE. . Delivering shift change over meetings, daily reporting, and weekly reporting. . Responsible for the adoption of lean philosophies, lean processes, and improvement / CI activities. . Execution of Risk Assessments, Safety Walks (operational), 5S Audits, and Layered Audits (operational). . Support the execution of Safety Walks (leadership), Layered Audits (leadership). . Responsible for Near Miss, Incident, and Accident Reporting (associated communications). . Responsible for nurturing positive culture and upholding BorgWarner Beliefs and Behaviours including DE&I. . Responsible for deputising for the role directly above, ensuring a flexible workforce, undertaking training needs analysis, and talent development. . Support the creation and execution of training and development plans. . Responsible for onboarding, wider business cross-functional integration/communications, and Performance Management.Experience/knowledge requirements for a Production Supervisor:. Previous experience supervising employees in a manufacturing environment. . Strong leadership abilities. . Effective communication skills. . IT skills using MS Office & ERP Systems. .
