To act as the gatekeeper for the CEO and Chair, responsible for ensuring the effective management and utilisation of the CEOs and Chairs time, capacity and resource and that both CEO and Chair are always in the right place, at the right time. The jobholderwill provide high level support to the CEO and Chair, anticipating, dealing with and resolving a wide range of issues that will initially have been directed for the CEOs or Chairs attention.Client DetailsThe client is a public sector and government organisation based in Bradford.DescriptionThe successful PA will - Develop and maintain good working relationships with members of the corporate and Divisional operational teams to ensure a clear understanding of key Trust and Divisional strategy and objectives. Exercise professional judgement in the provision of timely and accurate advice on key documents, briefs, reports, presentations and correspondence, ensuring such documentation is prepared to a high standard. This includes management of incoming and outgoingemails on behalf of the CEO and other key communications or information that requires action by the CEO and the Chair. To develop and maintain an appropriate tracking system for the management of action plans and work schedules to ensure that actions are followed up and key milestones are met. To ensure that the CEO is fully briefed prior to attendance at any meeting. To ensure systems exist which promote effective communication between the CEO, the Executive Team and other members of staff. To support the CEO in leading on specific areas of policy development by undertaking relevant research, drafting documentation and ensuring approval and effective implementation. To ensure that all reports and agenda papers produced within the CEOs area of responsibility meet high standards of presentation and accuracy and absolute timeliness. To prepare reports and papers as requested by the CEO in a timely manner for the ExecutiveManagement Team, Board of Directors, Council of Governors, and other events.ProfileThe successful PA will have:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including written, oral and presentation- Excellent planning and organisational skills using a systematic, thorough and logical approach- Experience of developing and establishing effective networks, including across organisational boundaries- Proven experience of operating in a similar role at a senior level within a large and complex organisationJob OfferThe successful PA will be offered:- 12 month contract- Based in Bradford- £20-£22 an hour (40k salary)- Immediate start
