Job Description

We are a FTSE 250 Company employing over 3,000 staff throughout the UK and Ireland.Provident delivers non-standard lending through our businesses - Vanquis Bank, Provident Home Credit, Satsuma Loans, Moneybarn and Cheque Exchange.About the role:We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR MI Analyst to join our HR Shared Services team who will play a key role to producing regular HR specific data in line with business demands as well as providing insight, key messages and trends for stakeholders.As a HR MI Analyst you will develop and improve our people data to enable insight which can be used to benefit the People Services Team, the wider business and that will ultimately lead to informed business decisions.Key responsibilities include:

  • Own, develop and maintain an accurate suite of HR MI and dashboards (as required) to drive improvements across key performance indicators for all HR metrics including People Development and Recruitment, including (but not exclusively) full break down of on-boarding task by time taken, attrition, department KPIs.
  • Provide an effective and robust analysis of data, clearly articulating observations, trends and recommendations, utilising external benchmarks where available to offer insight.
  • Ensure that compliance and governance requirements are met (Fitness &Probity UK & ROI).
  • Scope, track and provide MI tasks on HR activities such as F&P, HR Dashboard, Salary and ExCo reporting.
  • Create and maintain close working relationship with key stakeholders to understand and deliver reporting requirements.
  • Identify system improvements or opportunities for different methods of utilising the People HR system to drive increased efficiencies and enhance user experience.
  • Proactively review and analyse data to inform the People Services team on opportunities for improvement and enable effective decision making.
  • The skills and experience you will have:
  • Previous Experience of building reports and dashboards within Excel and Power Bi (or other visualization tool), you will also have the curiosity and creativity to use this data to help form recommendations for improvement and business insight.
  • Clear communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills with an ability to present data and information in a clear, high quality and insightful format.
  • Ability to analyse data, problem solve, design and implement reports that add strategic benefit to the system.
  • Highly organised and able to work under own initiative to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft software applications.
  • Desirable skills and experience, but not essential:
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of HR systems, process and procedures.
  • Understand the requirements of a FCA regulated business.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards.
