Job Description

RM Recruit are working with a Bradford based charity to recruit a Finance Manager for their team. Working closely with the Finance Director you will lead, manage and develop the finance function of the charity and contribute towards the strategic development and operational aims of the organisation.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and monitoring the workloads and output of the finance team, designing and maintaining an adequate staff structure and undertaking performance and development monitoring
  • Manage the services provided by the finance department with a high levels of customer focus and support
  • Full involvement in budgeting, forecasting and monitoring of performance targets, and the monitoring of risks
  • Provision of reports and financial information/analysis for the Finance Director and the Board of Trustees
  • Lead on key organisational projects as required in collaboration with auditors and other external advisors, other service providers, senior management and board members
    • The successful candidate will ideally be a fully qualified accountant with experience in the Not for Profit sector. An understanding of Charities SORP is highly desirable along with experience of pensions, automatic enrolment, VAT, and payroll systems.You will confident with the setting and monitoring of budgets, have a keen eye for detail and be confident with developing business partnering processes.
