Job Description

Attention all Drivers and Warehouse Operatives! Our client is the UKs largest independent electrical retail outlet and they are on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual to join their team in Bradford.Driver & Warehouse OperativeBradford, BD8 9AN

  • Full time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm)
  • Overtime opportunities available in evenings and on weekends
  • £10.42 per hour + monthly bonus
  • Additional bonus paid after FLT training and trial period

With a massive store in Bradford and an online presence, they provide the latest in domestic appliances and consumer technology, deliveringsavings of up to 40% off high street prices.About the Role:Join our dynamic team as a Driver & Warehouse Operative, responsible for efficient goods transfer and warehouse duties. This role involves driving, loading/unloading, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness, ensuring timely delivery and impeccable servicestandards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and return customer items, following transfer timetables
  • Load, deliver, and unload inter-depot transfers in line with company policy
  • Assist in unloading supplier deliveries and maintain accurate paperwork
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of vehicle and warehouse
  • Manage breaks in accordance with company policy
  • Additional tasks include pallet management and site security
Please note: Overtime is available (evenings and weekends).The Ideal Candidate:This is a great opportunity for someone with:
  • Full UK driving license (no more than 6 points)
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting
  • FLT license (preferred but not essential, training provided)
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
