Job Description

Digital Print Specialist Bradford Textiles - Niche Products£26,000 - £28,000This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, capable and motivated individual to work with a niche digital print production team as this successful Retail business continues to grow.The companys clients are typically large retail brands. They creatively produce a range of retailed products including blinds, interior products, clothing a real diverse range of print accessories. They work to very tight deadlines and, often, short leadtimes!Working as part of the workshop team you will use your digital printing experience. It is crucial to understand the dye sub and direct print on the fabric process and how each step affects colour and quality. This person will understand the profiles andconditions of the press, keeping up on maintenance to ensure the best quality printing output along with the interest.Part of the role will require you to provide technical solutions for the production of different types of printing.You will be trusted to ensure that these products meet set requirements and specification and be responsible for any defects, colour retouching, fixing and colour management.The role involves communication effectively with other departments within the business, so you need to be open and friend and supportive as key areas will include, inspecting the coordination of all of the printed products with the quality team for printclarity, colour accuracy, conformance to specifications and external defects.A great part of the role will be communicating with designer and sample departments so its a great opportunity to really feel part of his superb team and Bradford business.Digital Printing musts haves .

  • Technical knowledge of digital printing.
  • Experience working with ink chemistries.
  • Knowledge of creating the design to execute on a digital printer.
  • Basic knowledge of file conversion and image file formats or any other printable file formats.
