Job Description

Job Title: Digital Content Designer (2-Month Contract)Location: Bradford, West YorkshireSalary: £350 per dayType: Hybrid WorkingAre you a talented Content Designer looking for a short-term opportunity to make a significant impact We are currently recruiting for a Digital Content Designer to join a Local Authority in Bradford on a 2-month contract and play a crucial role in transformingour digital communication landscape.Role Overview: As a Digital Content Designer, you will be instrumental in enhancing communications and content for service users while contributing to the development of our website. This role involves close collaboration with HR to meetinternal recruitment marketing needs and ensuring that our communication channels engage effectively with the Trust and local communities.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Trusts digital marketing and communication channels.
  • Take ownership of the content plan, delivering engaging material, and providing recommendations for communication and content strategy enhancement.
  • Utilise social media, email campaigns, and various channels to promote content and increase public engagement.
  • Create user-centric, accessible content that facilitates access to services and offers clear signposting for additional support.
  • Enhance the recruitment site as an integral part of the Trusts website, promoting job opportunities.
  • Ensure content and designs adhere to web accessibility standards and government guidelines.
  • Analyse user feedback, metrics, and analytics to continuously improve content.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and end users.
  • Write, coordinate, proofread, and publish content for both the website and intranet.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the public sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various communication channels, including social media.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), strong knowledge of HTML, and expertise in Search Engine Optimisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to create visually compelling content using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret web analytics data and drive content strategy improvement
