Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Digital Communications Manager to join our multi-academy trust (MAT) and lead ta multi-channel communications and marketing strategy based in the North West, You will join us on a full-time permanent basis and In return, we will offer a competitive salary of £39,880 - £40,876 per annum.As our Digital Communications Manager your purpose is to challenge educational and social disadvantage by leading a multi-channel digital communications and marketing strategy in orderto achieve the highest possible standards and prepare all our students to lead successful lives.The Dixons Academies Trust is a rapidly expanding family of 15 schools serving the communities of Leeds, Bradford, Manchesterand Liverpool. Responsibilities as our Digital Communications Manager include:
  • Live the mission and values every day
  • Work with the Communications Director to develop and execute an effective digital communications and marketing strategy
  • Be an expert on social media: lead the content strategy for Dixons social channels, ensuring content is up-to-date, relevant andimpactful; support the wider communications team to create and upload multi-media content.
  • Write compelling content for all digital channels, including websites, intranet / digital workplace, email campaigns, and social.
  • Manage SEO strategy to drive organic traffic to the Trust and school websites.
  • Drive digital campaigns from concept to execution: identify key audiences, produce tailored content, and analyse results.
  • Perform day-to-day campaign management and measure campaign performance against ROI and KPIs.
  • Alongside the Communications Director, manage the academy communications leads to refresh and expand academy websites, andestablish and maintain a strong strategic social media presence, whilst ensuring statutory compliance.
  • Undertake regular audits of the Trust and school websites, ensuring compliance and delivering a positive user experience. Advise onand manage improvements to all websites and the digital workplace to enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with central and academy teams to drive internal communications engagement through developing and managing theintranet and delivering digital campaigns targeted towards students and staff.
