Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding DT teacher. We are currently working closely with an inspirational Secondary school in the BD13 area of Bradford who are recruiting a committed and dedicated Teacher of Design Technology, ideally with a specialism in Resistant Materials for a 5 day per week role, to add to their growing team, to start in September or sooner if the schools re-open before then. They would consider a job share for the right candidates.The school has a strong ethos and believe in creating a supportive and nurturing working environment for all pupils and teachers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking to enhance their career, who has a passion for education and can make a positive impact of the lives of the children in the school. You would expect to earn up to £185 per day, depending upon your experience.Within the role you are required to:

  • Plan and deliver high standards of teaching and learning outcomes
  • Ability to teach up to KS5 DT is advantageous, in particularly Resistant Materials
  • Offer extra-curricular activities after school to complement the curriculum
  • Promote the positive behaviour policy of the school
  • Subsidiary subject is advantageous
