Job Description

We’re looking for several Data Administrators to join our team in Bradford on full time, permanent basis! (Internally known as Inventory and Release Team Data Administrator)This role will form part of a newly created team to run alongside our current Inventory and Release team. You will be responsible for auditing, creating, and maintaining network and premise inventory data, so that it accurately reflects changes made to the physical network as well as homes passed (serviceable premises). It will be your responsibility asthe Data Administrator to process high volumes of sophisticated data to support Virgin Media’s Network Expansion Programme and other high-profile projects.Based in our Shared Service Centre, known as LSS. Acts as a central specialty service supporting the wider Liberty Global group with specialisms in areas of Finance, Accounting, People, Legal & Systems. This central team supports a number of businesses acrossthe Liberty Global footprint including Virgin Media.What will you be doing

  • The audit, creation and release of inventory related data in relevant systems.
  • Ensuring the quality and standard of output is maintained, handled and quality assessed.
  • Understand and resolve exceptions from robotic processes to ensure timely delivery of key processes.
  • Engage with external parties to validate address data where appropriate.
  • Identifying and investigating discrepancies or inaccuracies, resolving root cause, calling out issues and implementing agreed actions.
  • Supporting the transfer and transformation of existing processes from the "as is" state, to the new "to be" because of digital transformation and automation opportunities.
We tend to look for people with: Preferred:
  • Previous experience in delivering volume processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sophisticated data using various IT Systems.
  • Has skills for using IT and a diverse range of transactional processing systems.
  • Ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
Desirable:
  • Telco sector experience.
  • Other utility sector experience.
