We are looking to recruit a Customer Demand Planner within the Supply Chain Logistics department for a leading manufacturer in the Bradford region.This is a newly created role in the business that needs an individual to take ownership of this area of the supply chain, forging excellent working partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure the timely delivery of product in line with customer demand and forecast.Key Responsibilities:+ Ensure all forecasting activities associated with the analysis of customer demand are completed in a timely manner on a monthly basis.+ Review historical sales trends and identify demand drivers.+ Analyse forecast accuracy data metrics and drive appropriate discussions to improve data.+ Ensure customer EDI demands are in line with contractual terms.+ Liaise with customers on demand related issues.+ Provide a link between Sales and Operational / Supplier planning from both ends of the supply chain.+ Deliver weekly KPIs to show customer delivery performance and forecast accuracy.+ Be the first point of contact for any customer queries.+ Maintain the MRP/ERP system with key customer data, including weekly schedule demands.+ Assist in continuous improvements of Logistics systems to ensure all KPIs are performing in line with Plant specific targets.+ Initiate transport arrangements in line with contractual obligations to ensure the timely delivery of all customer shipments.+ Collate and file all corresponding documents for each shipment and ensure documentation is in place to pass internal and external audits.+ Align inventory levels with peaks and troughs in customer demand.+ Maintain good relationships across the business.+ Ensure change requests are understood and actioned in the correct and timely manner.+ Provide a link between the NPI project teams and customer demand.Knowledge & Experience:+ Degree Qualified, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering related discipline.+ Previous Logistics, Supply Chain, Planning, Forecasting experience.+ MRP experience.+ Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Distribution, Transportation or Warehousing.+ Strong analytical and cost calculation skills.+ Good interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude.+ Excellent organisation skills.+ Proficient in MS Office particularly Excel.Salary:£45,000 - £55,000 depending experience + packageIf you want to discuss this position in more detail, please contact Carl Walker at Elevation Recruitment Group.Elevation Recruitment Groups Procurement and Supply Chain division work with a vast range of businesses across Yorkshire and Humberside, Lincolnshire and East Midlands regions.
