Senior Credit Risk Analyst- Yorkshire (Hybrid)- up to £45KA well-established Client is looking for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join their team in Yorkshire.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESUndertake detailed statistical analysis to review and optimise credit decision strategies, processes and models.Undertake ad-hoc analysis to inform business decisions and investigate specific risk issues.Ensure all analysis is accurate, well presented and delivered within the required timescalesCode, test and implement approved changes to the credit decisioning systems, acting as primary internal credit contact.Produce detailed, accurate credit MI and identify emerging trends, risks and opportunitiesDefine and develop new MI reports to meet business needs.Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, resolve issues and/or improve business performanceCompile and maintain comprehensive documentation of credit strategies, procedures and processesSupport other areas of the business with Credit Risk expertise and analysis.Deputise for the Lead Credit Risk Analyst/ Credit Risk ManagerTo be committed to the fair treatment of customers at all timesEnsure compliance with all applicable UK and local regulations, Company Policies and FCA Conduct RulesDemonstrate behaviours in line with our Company valuesTo take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other persons who may be affected by acts and omissions at workKey Requirments:Minimum 2 years experience in data analyticsGood knowledge of the credit customer lifecycleGood understanding of Credit Reference Agency data and its applicationCompetent in data manipulation and analytical techniquesAbility to derive and communicate insight from data/Management InformationCompetent in Microsoft Office, Intermediate ExcelIntermediate SAS/SQL capabilityExperience in credit data analytics and modelling (Desirable)Awareness of applicable consumer credit regulation(Desirable)Educated to Degree Level or equivalent; preferably in a numerate discipline.Good written, verbal and communication skillsAbility to complete tasks with minimal supervision.Ability to manage own workload and multiple tasks simultaneouslyIf interested, send your CV to
