Major investment is being made in the Technology & Change function, so now is an exciting time to join us as we shape the future of the business and more importantly continue to keep our customers at the heart of everything we do.We are very excited about our future and the road map ahead of us.About the RoleIn this role you will own and manage incidents, changes and problems assigned to the team to identify and resolve application software faults and also assist with software upgrades.Key ResponsibilitiesIncident Management

  • Own and resolve incidents and services requests for all the supported applications that come into the team
  • Change Management
  • Own, manage and implement changes to the supported applications
  • Release Management
  • Deploy software releases into the live environment including cloud deployments.
  • Service Transition
  • Work alongside the delivery squads to transition new applications and updated functionality into live operations
  • Service Improvement
  • Develop, document and maintain support processes and procedures
  • Share knowledge and best practice
  • Implement and embrace new processes as defined by Governance
  • Continually improve and build personal customer service ethos
  • About YouWe would like you to have skills and experience in some of the following:
  • Experience of incident, problem, change and release processes.
  • Experience of working in an IT support environment (ideally application support)
  • Experience of supporting bespoke software applications
  • Desirable
  • A background in system integration, configuration and maintenance is highly preferable.
  • Desirable Qualifications
  • ITIL Foundation
  • SQL Scripting
  • Degree in an IT related subject
  • ITIL Practitioner in one or all - (Problem, change, release).
  • Knowledge in any of the following areas IIS, Powershell, SSIS and SSRS, IOS Mobile Operating System, Windows Server
  • Azure services and deployments.
