This is a perfect opportunity for somebody who has a strong background of providing advice and looking for that next step up into managinga teamDescriptionKey responsibilities required: supervise staff from the advice team in their work with service users, quality assuringprocesses to ensure work is carried out to a high standard, responsible for staff development by carrying out case file audits & annual appraisals, provide accurate advice and casework covering generalist advice in the following areas: debt, housing consumerproblems and fuel poverty, lead on quality processes and procedures, undertake case file reviews & other duties as required.ProfileThe successful candidate:

  • Experience of welfare benefits casework.
  • Experience of managing your own specialist advice caseload with demonstrable ability of using a methodical approach, following procedures and systems.
  • Strong active listening, critical thinking and client centred service skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and an aptitude for multitasking, time management and prioritisation.
Job OfferWhats on offer£26,000 - £28,000 salary + permanent role + part-time hours (22.2hrs) + immediate start + free parking + pension + cycle to work scheme + flexible working
