Job Description

Have you ever wanted to work for the civil service Do you enjoy admin based roles which deal with interesting & important responsibilities If yes then please read on as we are looking for administrators to join the MoJ!The Ministry of Justice - Admin Officer Location: Bradford Phoenix House (Hybrid working a mixture of home working and office working - must be able to commute to Bradford or a local office in West Yorkshire)Hours: Monday - Friday (37 hours)Pay: £11.28PhThis is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements.Role Overview:Administrative officer within the Ministry of Justice. The role will involve the inputting of data, dealing with complaints (not via phone) and other administrative dutiesResponsibilities include:

  • Dealing with sensitive data & complaints from the public and looking to resolve these
  • Receiving and distributing information and communications in an appropriate manner e.g telephone, e-mail
  • Preparing, maintaining and collating records, files & management information in accordance with the standards required
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals
  • General office/administration duties required
  • Creating appeal cases on court databases
  • Organising appeal applications
  • Taking phone calls
