We are a FTSE 250 Company employing over 3,000 staff throughout the UK and Ireland.Provident delivers non-standard lending through our businesses - Vanquis Bank, Provident Home Credit, Satsuma Loans, Moneybarn and Cheque Exchange.About the role:We have a unique opportunity within our highly talented Marketing function for an experienced Marketing Manager who will support our Home Credit Customer Growth agendas in both UK & ROI through the delivery of our Marketing plans.Your team will be responsible for the delivery of impactful, high quality customer facing communications to drive results and mitigate any regulatory and conduct risk whilst you ensure that the marketing is clear, fair and not misleading and meets both the customers and the businesses requirement.Some key responsibilities include:

  • Implements our annual marketing strategies and plans to drive customer growth and existing customer retention and engagement. Owns the KPIs by directing the delivery of winning multi-channel strategies and communications.
  • The role holder is accountable for overseeing all brand and content activity, incorporating ownership of the Provident brand strategy and the Provident Content Management plan and processes.
  • Leading cross-functional business teams to deliver business objectives
  • Transform how Marketing interact with our Field colleagues and provide marketing support to drive customer growth within the Field.
  • Provide operational and specialist insight to drive continuous improvement
  • Identify risks and provide proposals for potential solutions, balancing risk with business needs
  • Engagement with multiple stakeholders, particularly field colleagues, to drive success & ensure alignment across key focus areas.
  • The skills and experience you will have:
  • Commercial / Marketing experience with a track record of delivery against challenging goals
  • Previous experience as a Brand manager who has worked within the Marketing function or similar environments
  • Strong communication (written and oral), negotiation and influencing skills, across all levels of the organisation
  • Strong commercial understanding and business acumen
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders across the matrix - experience of working in cross-functional business teams
  • Understanding of corporate governance frameworks
  • The ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with day-to-day operational activity - must be able to operate at pace in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience of agency and supplier management
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent
