Job Description

Were looking for an Accounts Payable Processing Manager to join us in Bradford on a 6 month fixed term contract basis.Reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager Sunrise, this role leads a team of 6 invoice processors for Sunrise. This team is responsible for delivering timely, accurate invoice processing in compliance with policy. What will you be doing

  • Developing your team, not only to excel in their existing roles but also to understand their career and ambitions and ensuring they develop the skills they will need for their next step.
  • Ensuring that invoice processing KPIs and SLAs are met, an operational issues are speedily resolved.
  • Holding regular meetings with teams across the business such as Facilities and Technology and Innovation to make sure that any issues in their area are speedily resolved.
  • Partnering the technology team and the business through a programme of IT transformation.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to standardise invoicing processes across the business.
  • Ensuring that our processes are well-controlled, and follow our internal policies and external requirements e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Driving the automation agenda, identifying improvements and automations which increase our efficiency and governance.

  • Experience working within a dynamic, fast-paced, international Purchase to Pay function.
  • A proven track record of leading operational teams and delivering improvements.
  • Experience of business change projects such as system upgrades and business reorganisations.
  • Confident communicators who can represent the team externally.
  • Problem-solvers who get to the heart of the issue and deliver solutions.
  • Attention to detail, excellent self-review skills, and a right-first-time mentality.
  • Ability to work to tight timelines and meet targets without compromising on quality.
  • Flexible, adaptable and keen to learn new skills.
  • Interest in automation technologies
Desirable
  • Experience of working with SAP and SAPAriba.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
