We are recruiting Accounts assistant for our client based in Bradford, this is12-month fixed term contract (covering mat leave) Our client is a manufacture who have been supplying to the furniture industry for over 20 years. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to cover maternity leaveworking side by side with the Accounts Manager.You will be responsible to assist theAccounts Manager in providing a dedicated and professional financial support service to Directors and Management Team.Main responsibilities and accountabilities: Preparation and processing of Purchase invoices Preparation of payment lists Track and resolve Purchase Ledger issues Maintenance of Payroll Assist the Accounts Manager in preparation of monthly accounts and returns. Processing of monthly pay roll Deal with accounting queries, resolving issues that may arise Day to day administrative duties (filing; record updating). Ensure records are up to date and accurateYou will be AAT qualified or working towards the qualification and be familiar with Opera 3 for payroll purposesSalary is up to £25k depending on experience for a 36.5hr week Company benefits include. 25 days per annum plus 8 days Bank / Statutory (holiday year starts 1st October) Offered to all employees 2 x Basic Annual Salary Company bonus Up to 8% of basic salary (criteria applies) Pension: Free On-Site Car Parking.
