Job Description

Michael Page Logistics discipline is looking to recruit a Logistics and Customer Service Manager for a client in Bracknell.Client DetailsOur client are a leader and well recognised brand with the sporty and leisure industry.DescriptionThe Logistics and Customer Service Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring a premium Customer Experience through proper management of order fulfillment, delivery and installation
  • Assuring the proper governance and compliance of the Order to Cash flow to the Company Policies, Sales Terms and Conditions as well as local fiscal requirement for invoicing
  • Planning, directing and coordinating all activities relating to the importation and delivery of products and accessories (via our 3PLs), ensuring adequate supply levels and timely distribution to meet market demand and maximize sales potential and inventorycontrol Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the Order to Cash process exceeds customers expectations in terms of Customer Experience and cost efficiency
  • Proactively manage 3PL in terms of SLA, making sure that the partners deliver a superior D&I Customer Experience
  • Guarantee the achievement of sales objectives, liaising proactively with sales so as to identify and reduce backlog slippage and minimizing revenue deviations
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of logistic costs and stock optimization and that Order to Cash is lean, effective and efficient
  • Support CS & Logistics Director to develop reliable and accurate sales forecasts
  • Guarantee precise and timely orders process and portfolio order management, assuring data quality, consistency and reliability
  • Guarantee an effective Customer Claim Management ensuring proactive and effective solutions to customer complaints
  • Build a solid, robust, right-sized, competent, customer oriented and engaged team
ProfileThe ideal candidate will have experience within the Customer Service and Logistics area of operations. You will, have an understanding of warehouse and stock Management as well as the delivery & Installation processes of products and services. An understandingof the Importation processes of good from overseas would be advantageous as would knowledge of SAP. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent people management skills. Financial skills and cost management, project management and problem solving skillsare also important.Job OfferThis is a full time permanent position based in the company HQ.
