Job Description

3rd Line Team Lead - Infrastructure Support

  • Location: Bracknell
  • Type: 5 days on-site
  • Clearance: Must be eligible for SC Clearance
  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
One of the UKs leading Defence suppliers are looking to bring in a Team Leader for one of their 2nd/3rd Line Support Teams.This is an exciting opportunity for a 2nd or 3rd Line Engineer to take a step up into team leadership with a dedicated support team, pathway and accredited leadership certification.The below responisbilities & technical skills are to provide a flavour of the role, there is scope for training and development whilst in post.Responsibilities Include:
  • Performance Management: Service Management, Performance/People Management, Communication and Recruitment
  • Incident management - Manage the Incident to resolution in conjunction with the 3rd parties, keeping the record updated in accordance with agreed WI. Escalate where necessary. Raise JIRAs (defects) if required.
  • Change management - Support and participate as required in all Change Management Activities updating changes when completed. Participate as a member of the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
  • Release management - regular software deployments
  • Request fulfillment - Implementation of Service Requests that have been warm transferred from second line
  • Management of OS patching and delivery of application patching
  • Extensive Liaison with Project Team in order to progress project deliverables
