Welder Fabricator£35,000-£39,000BrackleyOur client who is a reputable Food Manufacturing company in the Brackley area are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join their fast-paced manufacturing team. As a Fabricator Welder you will be responsible for the design and manufacture of bespokeitems and repairing galvanised steel modules whilst following good engineering standards and good hygiene practice within the department.As a Welder Fabricator your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.

• Perform fabrication and welding tasks to construct, repair, and modify metal components, equipment, and structures used in the food manufacturing process. This may include working with stainless steel, aluminium, and other food-grade materials.
• Identify and select appropriate materials for fabrication and welding projects based on specifications and safety requirements. Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, drilling, and shaping them to the required dimensions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment by following GMP. Operate fabrication and welding equipment safely and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Utilize various welding techniques such as MIG / TIG and stick welding to join metal components and structures effectively, ensuring strong and durable connections.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of fabrication and welding equipment to ensure optimal performance. Report any malfunctions or issues promptly and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
• Work from engineering drawings and able to layout and mark dimensions on relevant materials using various measuring instruments.

An exciting opportunity for a Welder Fabricator with the following.

• Prior experience in MIG/TIG/Arc Welding, ideally within a Food Manufacturing environment.
• Forklift experience and license desired.
• Key attention to detail and adherence to GMP.
• Ability to work from own initiative.
• Adherence to the health and safety guidelines set out.
