Job Description

Theyalso have a strong focus on STEM subjects, with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment for science and technology.As a chemistry teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs and interests of all learners. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the science department and the widerschool community. You will work closely with a supportive and collaborative team of teachers and leaders who share your vision and values.To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • A relevant degree in chemistry or a related subject
  • A qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A proven track record of teaching chemistry at KS3 and KS4 level
  • A strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and improvement
  • A passion for chemistry and teaching
  • A positive and flexible attitude
  • A willingness to participate in extracurricular activities and events.
