Community Co-ordinator based at MHA Communities East Cambridgeshire Queens Court Day CentreWorking hours: Full Time - 37 Hours (Monday - Friday with potential for weekend and evening shifts)Annual Salary - £21,750Are you looking for a role where you feel you have made a difference at the end of each working day Do you want to join a people focused organisation that values and listens to their employeesQueens Court & East Cambridgeshire Communities Scheme are recruiting for two Community Coordinators to join the friendly team and support with the delivery of the Day Centre supporting older people in our community.About the roleAs a Community Coordinator at MHA you will provide the highest quality of support to our residents and members enabling them to live later life well. You will work together with other MHA staff, volunteers and people we support to identify and achieve theirgoals, enabling them to have choice and control over their lives.You will also be expected to carry out everyday tasks including supporting individuals and groups, and planning and running a range of activities that contribute to a healthy, well balanced and fulfilling lifestyle. Personal care may be required, and trainingwill be provided.You will be involved with planning and designing meaningful activities and supporting volunteers. As a part of the team you will be expected to work to achieve fundraising targets and run events that bring the community together.To enable access you may be required to drive the minibus to collect members in the local vicinity; full MIDAS training will be provided.Every day will be different and youll have the opportunity to use your people skills to make a real difference.About youThe right values, attitude and behaviours are more important than your previous career background.
