Job Title:Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. - Bahaviour BuddyLocation:Sefton areaDaily Pay/rate:£77.00–£85 per day.Are you looking for a rewarding job opportunity to improve pupils’ lives and make the difference to the education of a pupil with SEND Have you supported children who struggle with SEMH... then this is the role for you...Milk educations are currently recruiting experienced SEN teaching assistants in a great primary school in Sefton area, to support pupils with special educational needs both in their individual and educational development. You will be supporting pupil ona 1:1 with SEMH, the child needs a great role model. You will be based in the classroom . It is essential to create an environment catered towards pupils’ individuals and educational needs.The school want someone who can give suggestions to add to the client tailored ECHP and implement any strategies that work with the child, You will be supported by a very experience Inclusion team at the school . The school has won awards for the inclusionsupport for their children .This is afull-timerole, working Monday to Friday from 8.30am-15.30pm – Start asap – March 2023 and then reviewed.The ideal candidate will have:

  • Essential to have experience supporting pupils with SEN in either a school, nursery, social care, residential, PRU, youth Centre /community role or volunteering/placement role in any sector.
  • Excellent nurturing behavior strategies.
  • Enthusiastic and bubbly personality in order to be able to support pupils to the best of your ability.
  • Supportive and patient when handling situations.
  • Confident with activity planning and delivery.
Responsibilities and main dutiesof SEN Teaching Assistant:
  • Supporting pupils in the classroom, group activities and on a 1:1 basis
  • Able to create and deliver activities that meet with the pupils individual needs.
  • Deal with situations calmly and safely.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and additional staff.
  • Create a positive, consistent, and happy routine for pupils.
