From best before dates on eggs, to serialised identifying codes on medicines, to batch codes on electronic components, to competition codes in confectionery, Dominohelps to enable product safety, improved supply chain management and brand protection.Job PurposeThis is an exciting time to be a part of Domino Liverpool and due to the expansion of our Digital Printing business, we are looking for 4 x Production Operatives to join our team at Liverpool. You will report into and support the Production/ManufacturingCoordinators, with responsibility for running an area or line to produce and package ink for our customers.The successful candidates will work rotational shifts Monday to Friday and 2 candidates will work a fixed night shift between January 2022 and September 2022. Whilst you may work predominantly in the DP area of the business, you may be upskilled and askedto work in other areas as and where appropriate.Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on and support the running of an area or a line as required designed to produce and package ink for our customers for use in industrial printers - examples of the work you will undertake is mixing / filling.
  • Completion of work orders on time in full to meet and exceed customer demand and expectations.
  • Customer focussed.
  • Responsible for delivery of Quality product
  • Completion of booking in processes
  • Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping in all areas.
  • Ensure Health and Safety policies and procedures are always adhered to.
  • Undertake all tasks as required in accordance with standard Domino working practices and quality procedure.
Carry out any other reasonable duty as requested by Manufacturing Coordinator.About YouYou will have experience of working within a similar environment. You will a great communicator and have the ability to work autonomously and be flexible and adaptable to working in a demanding and challenging environment. You should be passionate aboutour customers, people and processes with a strong desire to continuously develop and improve manufacturing processes within a challenging working environment.Domino is investing in a continuous improvement culture, adopting Lean practices and the ideal candidate will be motivated by the opportunity to be instrumental in driving positive change to contribute to the companys continued growth and success.Experience and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and education gained through experience of working in a similar environment
  • Safety first attitude
  • Excellent organisational skills; a real self-starter
  • Positive, can-do and friendly attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, across all channels, liaising with internal and external stakeholders of all levels across the business
  • Excellent IT skills - Word, Excel PowerPoint, SharePoint, Smartsheet
  • Experience in lean or six sigma is desirable
