Job Description

Group L&D Officer (Bootle)Join a Leading UK Recycling and Waste Management Company as a Group L&D Officer.Our client is a top player in the UKs recycling and waste management industry, providing sustainable and innovative solutions to our customers.Our client is currently expanding the team and implementing an L&D function in the business. Theyre looking for an experienced L&D Officer to join their team as a first hire in their Liverpool office. The individual will be first of all responsible of creatingand delivering a comprehensive learning and development strategy, aligned to the overall business plan and values.Youll work closely with the Group HR Manager and wider HR team, as well as support managers to identify development needs, designing, creating, and delivering solutions with added value for the individual, the team and importantly the business.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deliver, and manage learning and development programs.
  • Design and deliver training for staff, including statutory and mandatory requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory requirements and collaborate with Compliance & Risk Manager for training.
  • Create annual training plan and deliver events within budget.
  • Ensure clear objectives and evaluate effectiveness of L&D interventions.
  • Establish L&D policies, templates, and standards.
  • Track progress and produce reports on KPIs and goals.
  • Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and progression.

Requirements:
  • Proven working experience in an L&D role, including experience of the design and delivery of innovative training programmes.
  • A people-oriented and results-driven individual.
  • Good interpersonal skills, approachable and flexible.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • IT Literate - Advanced in Excel
  • A working knowledge of Health & Safety rules and regulations, Environmental and Quality Standards.
  • Full clean driving licence and must have own car.
  • Ability and willingness to work fully on site.
