Job Description

Assistant Management Accountant / Up to £30,000 + CIMA study support / Bootle, hybrid work Accountable Recruitment are working with a market leading company based near Bootle looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their well established team. This role is ideal for somebody looking for a supported, progressive company in an establishedand structured Finance Team.Key duties will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of month-end Group Management accounts
  • Journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Support senior managers in understanding and managing their financial budgets
  • Various balance sheet reconciliations to be completed on a monthly basis across all group companies
  • Production and analysis of financial reports and subsequent implementation of initiatives and business ideas
  • Overseeing the production of robust and timely monthly accounts, for the group and operating companies, incorporating profit and loss account, balance sheet, cash flows and commentary.
The successful candidate;
  • Worked in a similar role and have an understanding of management accounting
  • Ambitious to study/continue studying their CIMA
  • Host good Excel skills and communicate effectively both internally and externally
