Senior Systems AnalystIT/ERP - UKIDS is a leading in-vitro diagnostic solution provider to the clinical laboratory market. We develop, manufacture and market innovative immunoassays and automated immunoanalyser technologies to provide improved diagnostic outcomes for patients.IDS Boldon is the global IDS Headquarters occupying a single, multi-disciplined site.The site focuses on the manufacture and distribution of manual Immunoassay products. On site Purchasing, Logistics, Production, Quality Control and Process Development departments manage the supply chain, supported by local Sales Support, Quality Assurance,Regulatory Affairs and Finance departments. As Group Headquarters, IDS Boldon also houses all head office functions.Job Purpose The Senior Systems Analyst role will design new IT solutions, modify, enhance or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements, all with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity. The focus will be on the Syteline ERPsolution and will be required to work with multiple stakeholders across the business to identify current and future ERP system requirements and to design and implement these solutions to meet the business needs. The role will require hands-on technical skillsto support and maintaining the ERP and data warehouse solutions.Principal Accountabilities Maintain and troubleshoot the ERP and data warehouse solutions To assist in the design of new solutions by analysing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities and writing specifications To perform detailed systems specifications with recommendations to buy in, build in and/or outsource delivery To develop test plans from design documents, consolidate scenarios, test scripts and other input contributed by team members and map each script back to the respective business requirements To maintain systems protocols by writing and updating procedures To produce process guides and other relevant documentation to aid the training of staff To provide help desk support and training on systems and processes as required To maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending relevant workshops, establishing personal networks and benchmarking state- of -the -art processesSkills, Knowledge and ExperienceQualifications Industry qualifications and experience in a computer/IT support role OR an IT Related Degree such as MCSA or MCSE SQL Server.Skills & Knowledge SQL Server (2008 +) Administration SQL Server SSRS, SSAS, SSIS and T-SQL Database design Techniques (relational, star etc) Programming skills including .Net, VB, VC++, C#, Object C, JavaScript, PowerShell, and other web tools would be advantageous. SharePoint development skills would be advantageous. Power BI Reporting skills would be advantageous. Syteline administration would be advantageous. Flexibility to adapt to changes in IDS business strategies.Experience 3 - 5 years as an ERP Systems Analyst. Experience of an international multi-site ERP implementation Substantial hands-on experience of developing applications and information capabilities Significant IT industry experience including Requirement Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Implementation of system solutions in ERP and Client Server environments Experience of defining and promoting process improvements Ability to use appropriate techniques for evaluation possible options Experience in participation of ERP upgrade projects.
