Job Description

An exciting opportunity has just been created for an administrator to join a national financial advisory firm at their South Tyneside location.Experience of working in financial services is preferred, but administrators from other industries will be considered.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESGeneral Administration - supporting Paraplanners and Advisers with general administration, such as printing, filing and gathering information (from providers and clients).Post handling - opening post, scanning and distributing as required.Valuations - using back-office and online systems to provide periodic valuations for clients.Liaising with Providers - various activities including valuations, new business, information and general administration.Back Office systems - using a range of office systems to support the business and client records.Record Keeping - ensuring that client records are kept up to date.Annual Reviews - support to Advisers and Paraplanners in preparing client annual reviews.Filing - electronic and paper files maintained correctly.New Investments/Pensions - processing new applications/cheques/online payments etc.New Insurance Policies - processing new applications/cheques/online payments etc.Withdrawals - processing paper and electronic withdrawal instructions and updating records.Compliance - adherence to compliance guidelines.Fee reconciliation - checking that fee payments due are received and allocating appropriately.Client meetings - greeting clients, providing refreshments and supporting Advisers as required.THE IDEAL PERSON Financial Services administrative experience in a fast-paced business would be an advantage Proactive Attention to detail Flexible Good at building relationshipsSALARY & BENEFITS £Competitive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Additional day holiday for your birthday Enhanced Maternity, Paternity & Adoption Policy Death in Service, 4 x salary Opportunity to purchase additional annual leave up to 5 days Auto enrolment - Royal London pension scheme - Employee 5%, Employer 4% Ride to Work Scheme Corporate Eye Care Scheme - Specsavers
