Job Description

Recovery Co-ordinator - Blyth.Service Care Solutions are an industry-leading recruitment agency since 2005 and weve been identified as a preferred supplier and key provider to private substance misuse clients and substance misuse NHS trusts across the country, with a successful reputationof supplying temporary and permanent staff.Service Care are currently recruiting for a Recovery Co-ordinator role in Blyth.Location: Blyth Pay Rate: Up to £18 per HourHours: 37.5 hours per week. The Role -The role of a Recovery Worker is to manage a caseload of service users who are accessing the service due to struggling with Substance Misuse Problems. This role incorporates involvement with a range of other workers who will also be supporting service users.The role within Blyth will involve outreach across the Northumberland area working inline with the Alcohol Outreach team.The Perfect Candidate -This role calls for a caring and driven individual who puts others before themselves.The role involves managing a complex caseload of service users within a busy environment, so experience within this role of role is required. The perfect candidate would also have good knowledge of substance misuse and the pathways to recovery as to help serviceusers in the most effective way possible.Recovery Worker requirements

  • Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field.
  • Accomplished written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of personal IT competency.
  • The ability to accurately update and maintain records in a timely fashion and to work to deadlines for the submission of information, e.g. reports.
  • Good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services and good practice.
  • Experience of working in an outcomes-focused environment.
