Job Description

Prospero Teaching are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and proactive Office Administrator to work in a lovely Primary School based in Blyth, Northumberland.The role is 20 hours per week spread across 4 days per week on a contract for the full Academic Year to cover a Maternity Cover. The hourly rate for the role is negotiable dependant on experience.The role will involve working as a member of the Administration Team to answer the phone and deal with queries effectively from pupils and parents. In addition, you will be required to complete office-based Administration tasks in a prompt, accurate andconsistent manner.It is a very supportive and enjoyable environment for both pupils and staff.The role will involve:

  • Dealing with enquiries over the phone, via email and in person.
  • Completing Administration tasks in a proactive, prompt and accurate manner.
  • Working as part of the Administration team to complete tasks promptly.
  • Working alongside Teachers and other members of staff on administration tasks
This role requires:
  • An eye for detail
  • An ability to manage and complete multiple tasks in an accurate manner
  • An ability to prioritise tasks
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to build positive relationships with parents, staff and pupils
  • A strong work ethic and desire to contribute to the success of a team
