A vacancy for a Highways Construction Manager has become available. The successful candidate will be part of the Southeast Delivery Team covering Ashington, Bedlington Blyth, Cramlington and Seaton Valley and will be responsible for the cost-effective deliveryof the area capital expenditure (LTP) as well as numerous externally funded multi-million-pound highways and regeneration schemes. The construction manager will also be asked to assist with revenue-based operations as well Winter Services. Although the roleis based in the SE they will be an expectancy to look after certain schemes countywide. The successful candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment of working with schemes of various size both in scale and in budget. As well as being driven and used to working in an agile manner. They will also need to be well versed in current legislationas well as best practice and working in a cost-effective way.
