Job Description

About the roleAs the Maintenance Supervisor at our Blunham site you will be responsible for the day to day leadership of 12 maintenance engineers and will be expected to continually develop an environment that promotes constructive involvement and engagement for the Engineeringteam. You will work closely with the maintenance engineers to ensure proactive, preventative and predictive maintenance is carried out. You will be required to manage and supervise all engineering activities processed and developed within the Work Managementprocess.You will be a key leader in the ongoing development and management of the Asset Care programme by effective engagement with the Engineering team to meet output requirements, quality expectations and cost targets. Well also ask you to collaborate with theother colleagues to identify and rectify issues whilst maintaining, and improving, high standards within Environment, Health & Safety, Housekeeping, Performance, Waste, Communication and Continuous Improvement. You will support the Engineering Manager to deliverthe Key Objectives and KPIs for Operations and will support on site projects.To be successful in the role you will be a safety conscious individual who prioritises the safety of yourself and your colleagues, ensuring that work is completed according to company and legislative standards, to the required quality and workmanship inthe time allotted.About you

  • Experience in an FMCG engineering environment
  • Team leadership capability
  • Understanding of how a fast-moving maintenance department operates efficiently
  • Ability to build relationships with direct team and colleagues across site
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively
