Installer - Rail Signalling EquipmentHamilton, GlasgowAbout the roleHere at Babcock International were looking to recruit an Installer to undertake work in the installation of signalling equipment on the Railway.Responsibilities include undertaking COSS, Lookout, Site Warden, and Hand signalman duties as required, together with other relevant safety duties. You will also use power tools and portable plant where certified to do so to complete works.What do I need to do the roleYou will have experience of working on Rail Signalling &Telecoms works and basic electrical knowledge with the ability to use hand and power tools.You will also have good mechanical skills, and are IRSE Licensed (or working towards) and qualified to PTS (personal Track Safety).A valid driving licence is essential.Signalling modules SMTH, Mod 5, is desirable.What else do I need to knowThe role will be based out of Hamilton office near Glasgow, however travelling is required to sites within the area.We are happy to talk about flexible working.
