Acorn is looking to recruit a Tool Setter / Technician to join a reputable and growing client within the plastics manufacturing industry.The successful applicant will be working a day shift reporting to the Technical Manager, the responsibilities will include:1. Tool Changes & Setting of Injection Moulding Machines and their ancillaries2. Production troubleshooting3. Basic Machine Maintenance4. Process Optimisation5. Process & Conditioning SettingThe machines range from 80T - 1300TThe successful candidate will need to have previous experience in an injection moulding background having previously worked as a technician or setter. This position may suit a maintenance technician or a toolmaker who has previous experience in the setting of moulding machines.Normal day starts 7.30am and ends around 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (45 hours per week).The successful candidate must be flexible to work additional hours as and when required to meet business needs. After an initial probation period they will be expected to join the call out rota.Excellent opportunity to join a stable, successful and growing company with progression opportunities available for the right candidate.This role is temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
