Job Title: Multi- Skilled Driver Location: Minley, CamberleyCompensation: £23,674.29 - £26,282.15 (depending on licences held + excellent overtime rates) plus £2,000 Welcome BonusRole Type: Full time / PermanentRole ID: SF51245At Babcock were working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Multi- Skilled Driver at our Minley site.The roleAs a Multi- Skilled Driver, youll have a role thats out of the ordinary. Youll be supporting the Royal Engineer troops operating on site and in the field on training and on tactical operations. You will be responsible for providing a transport service,which includes driving a variety of military and civilian vehicles, on and off road.Day to day, youll:* Be transporting eligible personnel and/or equipment to and from the appropriate training exercise or other entitled military duty and ensure their safe carriage* Driving any one of the multi-disciplined vehicles including the PSV & LGV fleet * Completing Before, During and After Use Checks * Performing Level 1 maintenance tasks * Completing department administrative tasks when required* Dealing with the day to day customer queries in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner* Contributing towards the continuous improvement of the Fleet departmentEssential experience of the Multi- Skilled Driver:* Experience in working with multi-categorised fleet including PSV or HGV* Qualified IOSH Working Safely would be an advantage* You will need to satisfy security requirements.
