Job Description

ilk Education is working in partnership with a happy and supportive, primary school in North Manchester who are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work in their Early Years class. This role will be Monday-Friday 08:30-15:30 starting ASAPwith thepossibility of a permanent contract after successfully completing a three month probationary period.This role could lend itself well to someone who has been working in a private day nursery and is looking to transition into education.Job Responsibilities

To work under the direction of the teacher in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with the lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils work
Work closely with the teacher, to support pupils to achieve learning goals, targets/appropriate to EYFS
Assist with the planning of learning activities
Monitor pupils responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed
Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on pupils achievement, progress, problems etc

In order to apply you must:

Level 2 CACHE or equivalent childcare qualification ie, Childhood Degree/Early childhood studies
Have good working knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and be familiar with the seven areas of development
Be fully available this September 2022
