Job Description

An amazing opportunity has become available to join our client in Forest Works as a Production Operative, on a long-term basis, with a highly competitive salary.Location: Butt lane, Blackfordby, Swadlincote, DE11 8BQ.Shift and Pay RatesSHIFTS ARE WEEKLY, ROTATIONAL - DAYS, NIGHTS, EVENINGS.

0600 - 1400: £10.46 per hour

1400 - 2200: £13.35 per hour

2200 - 0600: £15.69 per hour.

APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL 3 SHIFTS ON A WEEKLY ROTATIONAL BASIS.Responsibilities and Duties (not limited to)

Use power tools and machinery as required and trained in the use of to aid manufacturing processes

All machine and power tool risk assessments must be strictly followed and adhered to at all times

Set machinery using measuring equipment, tapes, rules, squares, levels, and the like to ensure the unit is correct to specification

Responsible for checking that the unit is correct to drawing and standards

Sign off any quality documentation

Maintain equipment by completing any internal/external preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs to equipment.
