Job Description

Senior Digital Marketing Executive - Coventry £27.000 - £30,000 doe * EXCLUSIVE ROLE WITH CULTURE*My client is the UK market leader in their software field, with ongoing expansion this is a great time to join a brilliant business with genuinely fab culture.The successful candidate will have solid website management experience including management of the CMS / CSS HTML and Google Analytics, and will provide high quality continuous website improvement and consistent service in delivering and leading a broad range of mainly online but also some offline activities with 4 main objectives:

  1. To use digital tools to generate and engage and optimise a high-quality pipeline of non-customer leads which drive business revenue.
  2. To assist in driving digital projects through to completion, ultimately aimed at converting non-customer traffic into MQLs.
  3. To act as a team leader and set a professional example to wider teams in the group.
  4. To be able to manage briefed projects through to completion, while being able to challenge briefs where necessary.
The role will suit a proactive career driven candidate with the ability to multi-task and switch priorities at short notice according to the tactical needs of the business.Attention-to-detail, excellent written and verbal communication, great people skills, a good understanding of the fundamentals of marketing, an eye for design, a positive attitude and an appetite to take on a challenge are pre-requisites.This is a broad marketing role involving the planning and delivery of online and some offline activity. Located within the Marketing Team, the job holder will provide services to customers, prospects and other teams across the business to ensure a positive and consistent customer experience from start to finish.Key Accountabilitys:
  • Working with our creative and web-design agencies to ensure that the businesss websites meet the evolving needs of customers and teams across the business including marketing, sales, training, customer experience and support.
  • Assist in the formulation of digital strategies that build lasting connections with customers
  • Experience managing large multi-brand websites would be advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of HTML and CSS, with the ability to write and amend elements of basic code if required.
  • Owning on-going management and constantly recommending changes to improve SEO and SEM performance using SEMRush.
  • You are a team leader, assist in listening and responding to team issues and ensuring team members are able to complete their tasks, helping out where possible.
  • Set a clear positive and proactive example to the wider company.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Manage monthly website and SEO performance reporting from Google Analytics utilising other reporting tools where appropriate to gain insight into performance.
  • Thorough understanding of HubSpot or a comparable CRM platform would be advantageous.
  • Creating and modifying highly converting landing pages to improve conversions across all managed websites.
  • Organise webinars to improve lead generation, including initial email campaigns and understanding webinar feedback.
  • With guidance from the Marketing Manager, develop a high performing PPC strategy including writing copy in-keeping with the wider messaging structure and undertaking consistent keyword research to ensure consistently targeted campaigns.
  • Maintain and update existing online and offline marketing material and develop new material within pre-set brand and campaign guidelines as required.
  • Ensure that the business takes advantage of all sponsorship/partnership opportunities by managing our relationship with partners, spotting opportunities to gain profile and supplying the required material to take advantage of the opportunities (ed: adverts, banners, editorial).
  • Develop and deliver online campaign activity (eg: website, banner advertising) working with the businesses preferred agencies.
  • Proof, monitor and maintain consistency across all marketing material to ensure brand compliance.
  • Write customer facing copy for online and offline activities (websites, emails, letters, brochures, newsletters, help documents, press releases etc).
  • Monitor brand reputation across social media and act in response according to the businesses social media/ public relations strategy.
  • Support the wider team by posting relevant content across appropriate social media channels, monitoring and reporting upon engagement where necessary
  • Support the Marketing Team in other activities as required.
  • Work as an active member of the Marketing Team to deliver a high level of service across the business.
  • Actively contribute ideas to the team in order to drive marketing activity, business growth, reduce costs, drive efficiency or raise quality.
