Job Description

Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Blackburn)Reference: BY1119Salary: £32,000-£37,000An exciting opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer looking for a position full of responsibility, team building and varied projects, has presented itself. Based near Blackburn, this civil and structural consultancy has over 40 years in the industry,and are now seeking a geotechnical engineer to develop a geo team to work closely with their staff. Youll be provided with the support, resources and varied projects to develop your career and deliver projects to the highest standard.The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will be offered:

The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will be leading the majority of the contaminated land, ground investigation, and environmental projects within the company. Youll be provided with the resources and support required to develop a team equipped to carry outreport writing (and reviewing), site investigation, Phase 1 and Phase 2 investigations and regular communication with the client and wider team to ensure projects are delivered smoothly.To be considered for the Senior Geotechnical Engineer position you should have:
  • Experience as a geotechnial engineer.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • An Environmental Science, Earth Science, civil engineering or Geology degree (or relevant).
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.
  • Be chartered or working towards chartership.
  • Be commutable to Blackburn / North West area.
