We are pleased to inform you of a new role that we are working on for one of our clients.Job Title: Assistant Marketing ManagerSalary: Up to £25,000Location: BlackburnWhats the backgroundWe are looking for a generalist marketing expert to join a busy marketing and events team that works across multiple channels.The Assistant Marketing Manager is a newly created role to support the Marketing and Events Manager. This is a small team that has a large reach within the local business community and is a great opportunity for the right person to be the face of that activityand events.The brand is highly visible and well known within the business community locally and is highly regarded for the products within their portfolio. This success has led them to needing another marketer within their ranks.Responsibilities:There is very much a uniqueness about this opportunity. Due to the variety of activities needing to get done and having multiple brands to support, this could be likened to an agency type mindset but working for just the one organisation.The successful candidate will be responsible for helping lead the marketing function of the business, working closely with all the team members. As the Assistant Marketing Manager you will be able to take responsibility for a project and deliver that fromstart to finish. Projects will be across all the brands on the business which include print and digital publishing, and live events.Every day in the business is different and the Assistant Marketing Manager role is one that offers an opportunity to gain some great exposure and gain hands-on experience in all areas of the business. Youll be expected to contribute within strategy meetingsand seize the opportunity by putting your hand up and taking ownership of projects.If youre a bit of a social butterfly who loves nothing more than getting out there and engaging with customers and being a quasi host at various events, then this could be right up your street! Equally, youll be someone who is able to deliver multi-channelmarketing activities that raise brand awareness and directly contribute to ROI.Experience needed:It is essential that you have a minimum of 5 years marketing experience within a b2b environment. A large part of the work of the Assistant Marketing Manager will involve the events side of the business so experience of working, organising and promotingactivity would be an advantage. You will need a can-do attitude and be able to roll up your sleeves and be able to pick up the mundane tasks in busy times as the team is small. This role involves dealing with a large number of different people so it is a mustthat you have great communication skills as this isnt a job where you can hide behind a computer screen.Benefits:
