Job Description

Class People have an opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to work with a friendly, supportive and successful school in Bishopsworth. The role is very flexible, and dependent on your experience, you could either be working as a General TA in KS1 or KS2, oras an SEN 1:1 TA. You will have the ability to take the initiative to support the individual needs of the students you are with on the day.The role is running 5 days a week starting ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year.As an OFSTED rated Outstanding school, this school is an environment which works hard to ensure all students are the best they can be. Working in partnership with students, families, and support staff, children are treated as individuals and given every opportunity to succeed.As the right Teaching Assistant for this role, you will have:

Some understanding or experience working with children with SEND or behavioural issues
A kind, patient, and caring demeanour, putting the needs of the students above all else
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to take the initiative; adapting working styles to the needs of the students being supported, displaying a clear understanding of the different ways children learn
A history of supporting students to a consistently high standard
Passion, enthusiasm, and creativity when engaging with students of all primary ages and abilities.
