Job Description

A Top 200 UK law firm are looking for a Compliance OfficerA great opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Officer looking to develop their risk and compliance career in a Law Firm.Location: 90% Remote with one day a week in the Bishops Stortford Hertfordshire officeMain Responsibilities

  • Advising Legal Advisors on AML requirements for risk assessments
  • Analysing PEP and sanction results and advising Legal Advisors
  • Conducting advanced/complex client due diligence on behalf of Legal Advisors
  • Supporting the Senior Risk & Compliance lawyer in drafting and updating AML documentation
  • Assisting with AML reviews
  • Supporting audits and regulatory visits
  • Maintaining and reviewing the central High Risk Register
  • Horizon scanning for changes in AML and related legislation
  • Assisting with conflict queries
  • Supporting Lexcel compliance
Person Specification
  • Able to demonstrate experience in relevant or equivalent role.
  • Demonstrates expert status and specialist knowledge and experience necessary to meet the requirements of the role.
  • Familiarity with the SRA Codes of Conduct.
