Job Description

Our client is actively seeking an experienced individual with a background in fundraising to join their team in the role of Community Fundraiser. This part-time position offers flexible hours, typically requiring 2-3 days per week.As a Community Fundraiser, the successful candidate will be responsible for both raising funds and enhancing awareness of the charity and its impactful work.Duties:

  • Plan and execute fundraising initiatives to generate financial support for the charity.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to diversify fundraising streams.
  • Build strong relationships with the local community to promote the charitys mission and activities.
  • Organise and participate in community events to increase awareness and support.
  • Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities and donor interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing fundraising performance and contributing insights for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fundraising.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Passion for the charitys mission and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact.
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours (2-3 days per week).
  • Experience working with children would be beneficial
Hybrid working12 month contractSalary is pro-rata
