Job Description

Closing date: 06/04/2022Want to be part of the celebration of sport and culture in 2022Birmingham 2022 is looking for passionate individuals with strong relationship building skills and an ability to get in and get things done to join our Workforce Operations team.As a Workforce Operations Coordinator, youll work with multiple functional areas across the organisation - such as Catering, Cleaning and Waste or Transport - to build valuable relationships and ensure planning is implemented for the successful delivery ofthe 2022 Commonwealth Games.At Games Time, the roles will take on responsibility for the implementation and delivery of venue-based operations for the Workforce Functional Area -checking-in staff and volunteers; providing workforce welfare on venue; and creating engagement activitiesthat keep your venue teams motivated.Be part of the largest ever West Midlands based sporting event by clicking apply today!Responsibilities

  • Support the project planning of key services with the relevant provider Functional Areas (e.g. Catering, Cleaning and Waste and Transport) to ensure Workforce services are planned and delivered for an allocated venue(s).
  • Collaborate, support and engage a team of paid staff and volunteers who will deliver Workforce Operations on site at your respective venue.
  • Build and maintain strong client focused relationships with all Functional Areas and work to update and confirm detailed requirements for the venue you are allocated to.
  • Understand and uphold all policies and procedures that relate to Workforce Operations at Games Time.
  • Scope all physical operation spaces, overlay, technology, and other equipment associated with Workforce operations on Venue.
  • In collaboration with the Volunteer team, deliver the Workforce Reward and Recognition programme to ensure the Workforce team are motivated and engaged.
  • Take on the unique opportunity of a Games Time role.
Skills & Experience RequiredEssential
  • Demonstrable initiative and communication skills
  • Develops strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their priorities and negotiating to ensure effective delivery
  • Excels in coordinating and delivering projects and operational priorities to quality and against tight deadlines
Desirable
  • Large scale event experience
  • Experience in developing and/or delivering training materials
  • Experience in rostering a large workforce
