Job Description

Western Power Operatives RequiredRate: Dependent on experienceLength: OngoingLocation: BirminghamStart Date: January 2021Venn Group are currently looking to recruit a number of Operatives in the Midlands to work on a number of substation project. Operatives must have Western Power authorisation tickets to gain access to sites.Day to day duties include:

  • Operating lant inside Western Power sites
  • Working on live 132kv substations
  • Excavating earth for cables
  • Civilising site between buildings
  • Conducting muck shifting
  • Adhering to health and safety policies and procedures on site
    • The successful candidate will have:
  • CSCS card
  • CPCS, NPORS or equivalent
  • Western Power Authorisation – OPS1b
