Job Description

(PAYE)Expenses: £65 per shift (Accommodation/travel) Outside of 50-mile radius What to expectQualified Welders (NVQ 2) looking to upskill and move into advanced positional work. A tailored 5-day course under instruction by a respected training provider. Candidates will be asked to attend an assessment day on 11/11/22, where they will complete a number of test bars for the trainer to assess.Successful candidates will then be invited to join the fully paid training course onsite, practising a range of positions and joints required by the client. Working towards producing test bars and gaining codings required for the role with Gemini.The candidates will be paid £22 (umbrella) during the course and for 6 weeks after - thenwill join the rest of the work force, progressing to £27.21ph after successful completion of all test bars.The successful Welder Fabricator is required for repair and overhaul work an ongoing project within Rolling Stock and Rail sector. Working with 2mm to 10mm Mild Steel, candidates will be required to weld in various positions including overhead and verticalup.Predominantly supporting the production and repair of passenger carriages and rolling stock sections, including the replacement of solebars, internal supporting columns and whole floor replacements.
