Job Description

A brand-new opportunity has arisen with a leading community pharmacy group, with branches across the UK!Our client is seeking a committed and enthusiastic GPhC Registered Pharmacist Manager to join their branch in Birmingham (B27) on a part time, permanent basis working Mondays and Tuesdays (9am to 6pm) (closed 1pm to 2pm for lunch).Our client invests heavily in training members of their team, as they look to employ people on a long-term basis. So, if you’re looking for excellent career longevity, this may be the position for you!Pro rata salary of up to £45,000 per annum DOE, along with paid GPhC fees, pension scheme, employee discount scheme, and superb career development opportunities!Essential Requirements for the Pharmacist Manager

  • You will be a registered GPhC Pharmacist.
  • Ideally MUR accreditation and ProScript experience.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build good relationships with both customers and staff.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in the future.
Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist Manager
  • Ensure all key targets are met and that excellent standards are consistently delivered will be crucial to your success.
  • Build working relationships with Primary Care Organisations (PCOs) and GP surgeries.
  • Ensure payment claims are accurate for anything covered by the NHS.
  • Proactively develop Pharmacy sales, services, and profitability in a cost effective and safe manner, adhering to legal, ethical and company requirements/ systems.
  • Focus on the day-to-day business, as well as medium term operation, you will be expected to regularly audit staff, services, systems, records, and standards.
