You will have the opportunity to get involved with all aspects of web design & development, supporting the front-end of web projects from brief through to wireframe, mock-up and build. You will support with designing sites and assets that meet commercial andnon-commercial targets for a range of stakeholders, whilst ensuring user experience is optimised and brand integrity is maintained.We are looking for someone who has a passion and enthusiasm for web design and would like to develop their skills and experience further whilst working with us.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital as you will communicate with internal and external clients and answer queries throughout the design and build process. Working alongside the Communications and Marketing team, youll have the opportunityto play a major role in the development of the business and our digital future in particular.This post is permanent, working full-time 37.5 hours per week. A flexible approach to working hours is required. Please be aware that as an organisation we are working temporarily on an agile basis, this will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.Part-time working arrangements will also be considered.Your main roles will be: Designing and building websites Putting demos / site plans together Installing themes Configuring plugins Updating existing websites Liaising with clientsSkills required: Wordpress Pagebuilder such as Elementor, WP Bakery HTML/CSS Knowledge of JS Knowledge of PHP Cpanel / WHCM Strong knowledge of design principles, user interfaces and web standards Experience of graphics packages such as, Adobe Creative Suite Exposure to E-newsletter distribution software such MailChimp or similar Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently or within a team Confident to work to tight timescales, a well organised approach and a flexible attitudeYou should have a portfolio of work to show what you have worked on.Salary: £28-30K per yearBenefits: Casual dress 30 days annual leave (20 holidays + 8 bank holidays) Nest pension scheme Choice of Equipment pc / mac Quarterly team socials/nights out.
