Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber Location: Birmingham, West Midlands Salary / Benefits £22k - £35k +Training +BenefitsLevel of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer / PlumberProfile: A long standing and established Water Hygiene company with a strong presence across the Midlands area, carrying out the full range of Water Hygiene / legionella serviced across Educational, healthcare, Leisure and Facilities management sites are nowseeking to recruit a hardworking and City and Guilds qualified Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber based in and around the Birmingham area. The successful candidate will carry out water sampling, temperature monitoring, Rerouting, and replacing pipe work, Faultfinding and TMV Servicing.Applications will be considered from: Wolverhampton, Cannock, Stafford, Walsall, Dudley, West Bromwich, Tamworth, Coventry, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Rugby, Shrewsbury, Telford, Leicester, Loughborough, Derby, Nottingham, Long Eaton. Experience & Qualifications: " Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 in plumbing is essential to the role." Will have experience working within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry for an established company. " Holding G3 unvented ticket is beneficial but not essential. " Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ L3 in plumbing would be desired but not essential. " Will be able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of Health and Safety / ACoP L8 Guidelines. " Must have excellent communication and organisational skills. " Confident in using PDA / Tablet systems. The Role:" Carrying out Water sampling and Temperature monitoring." Carrying out unvented cylinder install and servicing. " Finding faults on site, diagnosing issues correctly and dealing with any issues in a timely manner. " TMV servicing and installs. " Showerhead descales. " CWST Cleaning and chlorinations." Rerouting and replacing PVC / copper pipework. " Cleaning and chlorinating hot and cold-water systems. " Using PDA / Tablet system to produce detailed site-specific reports and update onsite logbooks. " Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safey / ACoP L8 guidelines. " Maintaining and building professional relationships with clients.
